Namecheap Domain Registration

Here is some good advice about starting a small business especially if you are on a tight budget and need to register more than one domain name. I use namecheap to register domain names. There are other domain name registration services. Some may be much more expensive and offer more bells and whistles. However, once you register a domain name for your site, you have to transfer the hosting of your domain name to the servers of the company hosting your site. Then you will find that options you may have paid extra for will no longer be available to you. Please note that I am not a domain name registration reseller. I am just explaining why I chose namecheap.

Here is some more good advice about starting a small business. You will probably find that most of the good single word domain names have already been registered. Then you will have to register a two or three word domain name. I strongly advise that you register both the non hyphenated and hyphenated versions of your domain name. If not, someone may take advantage of your domain name. For example, I registered both businessmarketingadvice.com and business-marketing-advice.com.

While you are at it, why not register your name before someone else does. I discovered that someone with the same name as mine had already registered the name and I had to settle for tbednarek.com.
